EDDP / Leipzig no dynamic lighting on arrival

Greetings. I bought EDDP via simmarket. Great Product, I enjoy it a lot 👍

The only problem I have is missing dynamic lighting on arrival. I have seen this before on other payware addons, some of the developers like justsim had fixes for that.

Is there a fix for P3D v4.x available for the dynamic lighting?

If not, what *.fx file is responsible for the lighting, so maybe I can fix this myself. As far as I am concerned the file needs to be adjusted in "effect.0=lightcone, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00"

Yes, this cam be fixed and was fixed by other devs. JustSim is one of them maybe you can speak to them if unsure. It may have to do with effectHandler implemented.

What we users can do is to make sure that "Special Effects" is set to medium distance at least. There are as far i know 2 issues that have different source. One is this Special Effect range in p3d setting and the other is the implementation from the dev.

No one else having this problem? Or does anyone know of a fix instead workaround?

Any help is much appreciated. In case the developer needs funds for this fix, I am willing to pay 50 Euro without any further request. Or name the price.

HI Jacob,

Dynamic lighting in P3D requires two effect files: a dynamic light effect and a related controller file. Some developers just include the light effect file but forget about the controller file. Leipzig does not come with the necessary controller file. As a result, you will not get any dynamic light upon arrival.

This can only be fixed with a proper controller file.
